The CHS Foundation and National Agriculture in the Classroom are seeking applicants for 15 $500 grants awarded to teachers with agriculture-related projects.
The deadline for application is 5 p.m. EST, Sept. 15. Applications are accepted online only. Applicants will be notified of awards by e-mail in October. In addition to the online application, one letter of support from a school administrator is required.
Teachers in grades K-12 are eligible nationally. Past projects include school gardens, embryology projects and agriculture-related programs that helped educators teach reading, writing, math, science, and social sciences.
