REI, the Washington-based outdoor gear retailer, is showing its outdoor leadership by sponsoring “All Out 2017” on Jan. 28.
All you have to do is type your zip code into the website, and activities and classes in your neck of the woods show up for that day. REI has 331 events scheduled at various places across the country. Classes include bike riding for kids struggling to cycle in Fremont, Calif., snowshoe basics in Missoula, Mont., and Introduction to Trail Running in Grapevine, Texas. With everything from outdoor photography to river habitat restoration events planned, it seems REI has something for everyone. No excuse to stay inside on Jan. 28.
