The Project WET workshop is for teachers in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. Project WET is a non-profit water education organization with its headquarters in Montana.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Sacramento Municipal Utilities District (SMUD) service center’s Rubicon Room, 6301 S St., Sacramento. Telephone is 916-732-6738. Contact person is Suzette Bienvenue.

SMUD organizers state only K-12 teachers may attend and must provide proof that they are educators. School e-mail or employer IDs will be accepted as proof.

Parking is limited and organizers encourage carpooling or taking public transportation. A Regional Transit Light Rail station is located a block away, at University and 65th Street. Parking will also be available directly across from the SMUD building or on streets.
